Green Food as Support for our Immune System

Updated: Nov 20

Let me tell you a bit about our intestines and immune system.

The mucosa that lines the inside of our intestine is the greatest barrier between the outside world and the inside of our body. Every day it is exposed not only to the nutrients necessary for our life but also to a huge amount of foreign particles, that are often potentially dangerous for our system. That is why here is located the most extensive immune tissue and is positioned at about 70% of the cells of our immune system. Our intestine (in terms of immune activity) is responsible for the resistance of all our mucous membranes, i.e. vaginal, throat, or middle ear infections.

Green food as Support for our Immune System

Our immune system undergoes education, training, and stimulation by gut microbes and bacteria, particularly our beneficial bacteria, from the moment of birth until the end of life.

The bacterial communities in our gut play a crucial role in the optimal functioning of every cell, system, and tissue in our body. Every surface of our body relies on our intestines for proper function.

This underscores the significance of consuming a diverse range of plant-based foods. We're talking about incorporating 25 to 30 different types of vegetables into our weekly diet. Nowadays, fruits and vegetables often lack the same levels of vitamins as they did in the past. Hence, Chlorella Pyrenoidosa and young barley make for excellent additions to our dietary regimen. We simply refer to them as 'Green Food'. One of the quickest and most prevalent effects we notice after incorporating Chlorella and Barley - is the remarkable improvement in immunity.

'Green Food' functions on immunity akin to adaptogens, supporting and stimulating it where necessary while also mitigating excessive responses directed towards the body's tissues for various reasons.

How does this "immune boost" translate into practical benefits? Consuming chlorella and barley reduces the frequency of viral and bacterial illnesses, resulting in fewer instances of falling ill, compared to before. This change is particularly noticeable in individuals who have frequently experienced illness in the past, spanning various age groups including the young, the elderly, and those in middle age.

Another notable effect is the significantly shortened duration of illness and recovery. Moreover, even in instances where infections cannot be entirely avoided, the body is better equipped to manage them. 'Green Food' also plays a crucial role in autoimmune diseases. In such cases, Barley and Chlorella do not exacerbate the pathological (autoimmune) response of the immune system components; instead, they assist the body in suppressing and regulating it. 'Green Food' functions on immunity akin to adaptogens, supporting and stimulating it where necessary while also mitigating excessive responses directed towards the body's tissues for various reasons.

A well-cleansed and nourished organism simply functions better. This applies to all organs and processes in the body, including immunity. Cells that are influenced by external factors, especially nutrition and lifestyle, also provide immunity.

How is it that 'Green Food' helps our immunity so much?

There is an easy way to define it. A well-cleansed and nourished organism simply functions better. This applies to all organs and processes in the body, including immunity. Cells that are influenced by external factors, especially nutrition and lifestyle, also provide immunity. Just as it happens with other cells in our body. Upon further investigation of this matter, we will undoubtedly be able to elaborate on the various ways in which barley and chlorella aid in bolstering a robust and healthy immune system. While many processes may currently elude our scientific understanding, there are some that we can already comprehensively describe and grasp.
