Amazing drink that supports your health during cold days. You can keep it for 2 days...it gets better when gets older...
1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
a large Ceylon cinnamon stick
a piece of fresh ginger
3-5 clove heads
1/2 L of boiled water
1 lemon or quince
optional 1 tablespoon of honey (a perfect option for making your drink sweet... to your liking)
Put a tablespoon of turmeric, a piece of sliced fresh ginger, a few cloves and a stick of Ceylon cinnamon in a jug and pour 3/4 of the jug over boiling water. Cover the jug to keep all the flavours inside. After waiting 5-10 minutes, pour in the cooled boiled water and season our infusion with honey (quince) and a squeeze of lemon juice. Remember that neither honey nor lemon should be added to the boiling water, as they will then lose their properties.
